College football is a great American tradition with millions fans attending games each and every Saturday in the fall. If you’re like me, and are curious how other schools and fanbases spend their Saturdays, you probably have traveled to another school or wanted to at some point. Unlike pro sports, which generally have easy access into and out of a city, planning a weekend to visit a small college town can be a logistical challenge. That’s why I’ve created this site – to lend a hand to a fellow college football fan who wants experience new traditions, see historic stadiums and enjoy a loaded weekend of college football.
I currently have profiled 15 schools (and counting…) from around the country. The main logistical hurdles for planning a college football weekend tend to be travel, lodging, tailgating, as well as where to go while you’re in town. Some small college towns are just not easy to get to and most are very packed on a college football weekend. This site can become your guide for how to travel to each school the right way.
Everything I’ve put into this site is to help fellow fans navigate their way through our country’s greatest college football towns. I hope you find it helpful and I hope you too are able to enjoy one of our country’s greatest traditions – College Football Saturday.
